Boutique Hotels in Quebec City

Last Updated on October 17, 2024 by Pamela MacNaughtan

Boutique Hotels in Quebec City are increasing with each year, and we are loving the new additions, as well as those which have called the city home for many years!

Typically small and stylish, boutique hotels are among our favourite places to stay in Quebec City (We love a good staycation!), especially in Old Quebec where the buildings are historic and full of character.

here are 4 boutique hotels in quebec city that i’m loving right now!

le c3 hôtel

Quite possibly one of the coolest boutique hotels in Quebec City, Le C3 Hôtel de Art Vivre is a gem tucked away in the neighbourhood of Montcalm, Quebec City. Located close to Musée nationale des beaux-arts de Quebec (MNBAQ) on Grande-Allee, the hotel resides in a building that dates back to 1852. While retaining its historical charm, Le C3 is a breath of artistic fresh air. Between the rooms, which have their own quirky and delightful themes, the relaxing rooftop patio, and the friendly staff.

An ideal choice for a quiet and inspiring stay near Old Quebec City.

monsieur jean

A new addition to Old Quebec City, Monsieur Jean l’hôte particulier sits on the corners of rue Saint-Jean and Côte de la Fabrique, across from Pub St-Patrick. The hotel is vibrant and plush with rich blues and deep greens, with massive windows providing views of Old Quebec City, the Saint-Lawrence River, and beyond. The rooms are a good size, complete with gorgeous bathrooms and electric décor.

Basically, Monsieur Jean is a contemporary, playful, and exciting addition to Quebec City’s old town! Pet-friendly.

le saint-pierre auberge distinctive

Tucked away on a quiet street in the neighbourhood of Old Port, Quebec City Le Saint-Pierre Auberge Distinctive is cozy and oozing with Old Quebec City charm. Many rooms feature exposed brick walls, creamy-coloured country-chic décor with pops of yellow, along with exposed copper pipes and vintage radiators. Enjoy the hotel’s public spaces (one has a fireplace!) to relax, and get ready for a memorable Quebec City vacation.

Quiet Old Quebec charm is the specialty here, an oasis close to popular attractions and gourmet restaurants!

monastère des augustines

One of the best-kept secrets in Old Quebec City, Monastère des Augustines is not only a health and wellness retreat but one of the most fascinating boutique hotels in Quebec City. Originally a monastery for the Augustine sisters (who arrived in 1639), Le Monastère is now a museum, health and wellness retreat, and boutique hotel. Choose from authentic rooms (which were once cells) or contemporary rooms with their Hudson Bay Company accents. A truly unique experience in Quebec City.

A rejuvenating boutique hotel experience that includes a silent breakfast!
