Planning a trip to Rimouski is always a good idea. It’s a vivacious city, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and foodies alike. Rimouski resides along Route 132, along the shores of the Saint-Lawrence River, and at the mouth of the Rimouski River. Whether you’re stopping for a night on your journey to Gaspésie or you’re planning to spend a few days in Rimouski (which I highly recommend!), there are a few Rimouski hotels to lay your head.
Here is where to stay in Rimouski for your next trip.
vieux loup de mer
It’s not really a secret that this is my first choice when looking for Rimouski hotels. Chalets are not hotels, but Vieux Loup de Mer’s unique chalets feel like cozy hotels. Always an excellent choice.

aux jardins de métis
This stunning accommodation can be found on Airbnb. It was designed by architect Atelier Pierre Thibault and is available to rent from October to April each year (it’s used to house interns during the summer). It has four bedrooms, seven beds, and incredible views. A lovely place to escape.

hotel les st-germain rimouski
Not to be confused with Le Germain Hotels, this modern-contemporary hotel is one of the best-rated Rimouski hotels. The view of the Saint-Lawrence River from here is stunning, and several rooms have a complete kitchen. They have a free continental breakfast, too.

hotel rimouski
Hotel Rimouski is a sprawling hotel and congress center facing the Saint-Lawrence River. The monochrome rooms are cozy and there is a large indoor pool with a waterslide (yay!). The hotel’s restaurant, Brigade 225, has a menu filled with surf and turf, and offers vegetarian and keto dishes. Ideal for families.

motel colonial
This motel is a great choice if you’re looking for comfortable budget-friendly Rimouski hotels. The rooms are sparse, but the beds a decent, and who doesn’t love a little motel charm here and there? Rooms have air conditioning, as well as a mini fridge.

hôtel le navigateur
This comfy hotel is close to the action in Rimouski, and some of my favourite foodie destinations. It also has a spa, Noah, and a Pacini restaurant. It’s perfect for families. Accessible rooms are available.
