Finding hotels in Quebec City for families is not too difficult, after all, hundreds of kids visit the city every year from Canada and the United States for class trips. Travelling as a family is a tad different, especially if you have younger children (or ones who are not overly keen on history!).

village vacances valcartier
Okay, Village Vacances Valcartier is not technically in Quebec City, but it is by far one of the BEST hotels for families! Located about 20 minutes outside the city, Valcartier is a family resort with a huge indoor waterpark, Bora Bora, restaurants, and outdoor activities.
On a warm summer day, enjoy the outdoor waterpark. In winter, the area is turned into tubbing runs (riding down snowy hills on inner tubes), and Hôtel de Glace (Ice Hotel) is built nearby. There are plenty of dining options, so if you have picky eaters, you should be fine.

l’hôtel québec
Located in Ste-Foy, close to Parc Aquarium de Quebec and Laurier shopping mall, L’Hôtel Quebec is a lovely kid-friendly hotel in Quebec City with an arcade center and kids splash park. Let’s not forget the seven-story playground! The hotel’s restaurant features kids’ menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Babysitting services are available for a fee.

hôtel le bonne entente
One of two 5-star hotels in Quebec City, Hôtel Le Bonne Entente is a spectacular resort in a quiet area of Ste-Foy. The hotel features an outdoor heated pool and hot tub, as well as a fun club for kids. Take advantage on a Saturday night, at no charge, and treat yourself to a nice dinner while the hotel staff entertains your kiddos. When there is demand, a free shuttle is provided to Old Quebec City.

auberge saint-antoine
One of the most luxurious hotels in Quebec City for families, Auberge Saint-Antoine loves guests big and small. While the historic artifacts on display are sure to pique the interest of any child, younger guests are also greeted with a cuddly stuffed bear upon check-in. Child-sized robes and slippers are placed in the room and a library of children’s music and videos is available at the guest’s disposal.

Hôtel Plaza Quebec is a beautiful hotel, close to shopping malls and the Aquarium. A cozy oasis a short drive from Old Quebec City. The hotel has a sleek modern contemporary design and features an indoor pool, a playroom for toddlers, and an arcade for older children. While the hotel restaurant is best enjoyed by adults, there are kid-friendly restaurants close by.
